From IRH Web site 23 Feb 2006 IRH Goal is to expand family planning options by making Fertility Awareness Based (FAB) methods widely available through high quality services and information. The Institute:
* Translates complex concepts into simple, practical approaches and manageable information;
* Establishes the efficacy of FAB methods and identifies best practices through clinical trials, operations research and behavioral studies; and
* Increases access to and acceptability of FAB methods worldwide through partnerships.
La misión del Instituto de Salud Reproductiva es ayudar a mujeres y hombres a tomar decisiones informadas de planificación familiar, y a proporcionarles opciones naturales, sencillas y efectivas.
L'Institut de la Santé Reproductive de Georgetown University a pour mission d'aider les femmes et les hommes à faire des choix informés en matière de planification familiale et de leur présenter des options naturelles qui soient simples et efficaces. Deux méthodes ont été mises au point par l'Institut: La Méthode des Jours Fixes et la Méthode des deux jours.
