Approbation des statuts de la Fédération Africaine d'Action Familiale (F.A.A.F.)
A l'issue de 3 jours de travaux portant sur les fondements philosophiques et les statuts de la future fédération les représentants d'associations africaines du Comité Mondial de Liaison
* ont structuré le continent en 4 sous-zones,
* fixé les objectifs du Comité Provisoire de Coordination,
* choisi un à deux secrétaire coordinateurs pour chacune des 4 sous-zones,
* établi la liste des 7 membres du Comité Provisoire de Coordination
* et signé la naissance de la Fédération Africaine d'Action Familiale (F.A.A.F.).
Les 4 sous-zones sont les suivantes : Afrique de l'Ouest francophone : Sénégal, Togo, Cote d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso et Bénin ; secrétaire-coordinateurs de sous-zone : Monique Kebe et Dr Modesta Sadzo-Hetso
Afrique Centrale : Burundi, Cameroun, Congo Brazzaville, République Centrale Africaine, République Démocratique du Congo, Rwanda et Tchad ; secrétaire-coordinateurs de sous-zone : Joseph Bama et Hippolyte Nkoy Mwakanzal
Afrique anglophone Est/Ouest : Kenya, Uganda, Tanzanie, Ghana (à confirmer), Nigeria (à confirmer) ; secrétaire-coordinateurs de sous-zone : Franklin Wafula Fuchaka et Monica Barenzi
Afrique -Sud : Malawi, Afrique du Sud, Zambie, Ile Maurice, Madagascar (à confirmer) ; secrétaire-coordinateurs de souszone : Sr Priscilla Dlamini et Heinz Wirz .
19 personnes ont apposé leurs signatures sur « l'acte de naissance » de la Fédération Africaine d'Action Familiale (F.A.A.F.) rédigé en 3 exemplaires :
Richard Cremins, Etienne Koukoua, Marien Moshikwe, Cecilia Fomenky, Danièle Sauvage, Sr Priscilla Dlamini, Monique Kebe, Franklin W. Fuchaka, Sr Elisabeth Szwarc, Thérèse Nyirabukeye, Berthe Odia, Modesta Sadzo-Hetso, Gabriel Kissala, C. Joseph Bama, Hippolyte Nkoy, Judith Batakao, Monica Barenzi, Henryk Hoser et Rémi Kouakou Kanga.
Les trois exemplaires de ces actes seront conservés :
• le premier, par la Présidente de la F.A.A.F., Danièle Sauvage
• le second, sur le lieu de la présente rencontre, à l'ICAF (Thérèse Nyirabukeye)
• le troisième, par le représentant du Comité Mondial de Liaison (René Ecochard) et la représentante de l'IEEF (Isabelle Ecochard), qui ont assisté à la création de la F.A.A.F.
Ratification of the statutes of the Africa Family Life Federation (A.F.L.F.)
The representatives of the African member associations of the Link Committee worked for three days on the basic philosophy and statutes of the future Federation.
They
* divided the continent into four sub-zones,
* determined the aims and work of the Provisional Coordinating Committee,
* chose a Coordinatorsecretary for each of the four sub-zones ;
* chose the seven members of the Provisional Coordinating Committee and its President ;
* and voted to establish the Africa Family Life Federation (A.F.L.F.).
The four sub-zones are :
French-speaking West Africa : Senegal, Togo, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso and Benin ; zonal secretary-coordinators : Monique Kebe and Dr Modesta Sadzo-Hetso
Central Africa : Burundi, Cameroon, Congo Brazzaville, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda and Tchad ; zonal secretary-coordinators : Joseph Bama and Hippolyte Nkoy Mwakanza
English-speaking East and West Africa : Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ghana (subject to confirmation), Nigeria (subject to confirmation) ; zonal secretary-coordinators : Franklin Wafula Fuchaka, and Monica Barenzi
Southern Africa : Malawi, South Africa, Zambia, Mauritius, Madagascar (subject to confirmation) ; zonal secretary-coordinators : Sr Priscilla Dlamini et Dr. Heinz Wirz
The following 19 persons signed the « Birth Certificate » of the Africa Family Life Federation (A.F.L.F.), of which three copies were made :

The three copies of this certificate will be kept as follows :
• the first by the President of the Federation (Danièle Sauvage) ;
• the second, where the founding meeting was held, at the ICAF, Cotonou (with Thérèse Nyirabukeye) :
• the third by the representative of the World Link Committee (René Ecochard) and the representative of the European Institute for Family Life Education (EIFLE) (Isabelle Ecochard), who were present to help the creation of A.F.L.F.
